Why See a Sports Injury Chiropractor Near Karrinyup?
A lot of people think chiropractic care is just for back pain, but sports chiropractors do a lot more than that. At Fortitude, our approach is holistic we assess your whole body to understand why you’re injured, not just where it hurts. This means looking at movement patterns, load tolerance, strength imbalances, and recovery habits.
For Karrinyup locals, having access to a dedicated sports chiro nearby means you don’t have to put up with pain or push through injuries hoping they’ll sort themselves out. Early intervention is one of the best things you can do, minor injuries that go untreated often become chronic, and that can keep you out of the game a lot longer than necessary.
Common Sports Injuries We Treat
Our team regularly works with a wide range of sports injuries, including:
- Sprains and muscle strains
- Tendon pain and overuse injuries (think runner’s knee, tennis elbow, Achilles issues)
- Shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries
- Back and neck pain from training or contact sport
- Ligament injuries and joint dysfunction
- CrossFit, gym, and lifting-related injuries
- Running and endurance sport complaints
- AFL, soccer, rugby, and racket sport injuries
Whatever your sport, we’ll evaluate where you’re at and build a management plan tailored to your goals.
How We Treat Sports Injuries at Fortitude Chiropractic
We use a modern, combined approach to treatment, not just traditional chiropractic adjustments. Depending on what you need, your care might include:
- Spinal and extremity joint adjustments
- Soft tissue therapy, including Active Release and IASTM (instrument assisted techniques)
- Dry needling and cupping
- Joint mobilisation and corrective movement exercises
- Specific exercise rehabilitation to rebuild strength, stability, and load tolerance
We’re also one of very few Karrinyup Chiropractor’s with a rehabilitation gym on site. This means we can take you all the way from pain management through to returning to full training.
